Staff Handbook

You may not have printers, own doors, have gun(s) in hand, kill people (unless absolutely needed and you must use !slay [name]), nor place props (unless to prevent vehicles from driving in places they will get stuck in.) while on duty.

Do NOT !noclip, !bring, !goto, !return, or !slay while OFF duty. The only admin powers you may use while off duty are !jail, !kick, !warn, !ban, and physgun players ONLY to get them unstuck from walls or props.

If you need to bring someone who is accused of breaking a rule (such as RDM) ask in /ooc if you may bring them, as just bringing them may be an inconvience if they are busy raiding, or in the process of being raided. If they say no you may not bring them, !goto them and if you deem them not busy, tell them you are going to bring them.

If you feel a jail is unfit, ask the victim if they want the rule breaker jailed. If they say no, you still must !warn them.

If you see someone RDM or are RDMed yourself, jail for 300 seconds. If you have to jail at the end of a sit, jail for 250 seconds. Every new rule break is an extra 50 seconds. (example: "Mr. Shiggy Man" broke NLR and RDMed. Jail time would be 350 seconds. "Erwin Rommel" RDMed twice and metagamed. The jail time would be 400 seconds.

RDMx3 is considered mass RDM and is punishable by a two day ban. Add on one day for every +3. (Example: "Ardee Emmy" RDMed six times. That would be a two day ban. "Jay Ben RDMed nine times. That would be a three day ban.) However, any RDM amount above 12 is a month

If you see someone jailed and they leave the game while jailed, open up dev console and grab the respected Steam ID and banid under Utility in !menu. Make sure you include why he was jailed, and who he was jailed by (if he was not jailed by you.) and that they left to avoid (L2A). The amount of rule breaks should influence their overall ban time. If you know of any, please include any previous jails that user has received.
(Example: "Dare Fewer" left while jailed by moderator "John Doe" for RDM. The ban reason should be as follows: Jailed by moderator John Doe for RDM | L2A.)

You must jail for the full amount of time or not jail at all. Meaning if a victim requests the rule breaker gets a 30 second jail time instead of a 300, inform him it has be for 300 seconds, or no jail at all.

While our staff should be an example of how to act, sometimes you may have to jail another staff member, or be jailed yourself. While this should never happen to any staff, if you find you have been jailed, do NOT UNJAIL YOURSELF! If you feel the jail is false, gather as much evidence as possible and post it on the forums.

Do NOT unjail someone who has been jailed by another staff member! If you must move a jail to prevent prop block, ask the staff who jail him in @ chat, or !goto that staff member and ask if you may move his jail. When you rejail, state why he was jailed in the first place, and add rejail. You should also only jail for approximately how much time a user has left.
